§ Six draughts persons with ample training and adequate experience. Five computer draughts person supported by powerful Pentium iv mmx 500 mhz computers with 128 mb ram and advanced graphic control system. the systems are upgraded periodically both in hardware and software. The software that are currently in use are acad 2000 for preparing drawings and 3 ds max 2.5 version, 3ds viz and adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator for 3 dimensional presentation along with other state of the art software and peripheral devices. (Canon BJC-colour inkjet printer, HP plotter-Ao size) Two terminals are exclusively used for DTP systems supported by MSOffice 98 software that includes, Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, and PowerPoint for slide presentation.

MAJOR PROJECTS


CHENNAI MOFUSSIL BUS TERMINAL COMPLEX at Koyembedu, Chennai for CHENNAI METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (CMDA) through RITES – RAIL INDIA TECHNICAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES ( a Government of India undertaking). The complex is set in a sprawling 25 acres site and is estimated at over Rs. 52 crores ( built up area of 4 Lakh Sq.ft). The project has been completed in 2002.

Designed MODERN DRUG WAREHOUSES for M/s. TAMILNADU MEDICAL SERVICES CORPORATION LTD ( a govt of Tamilnadu undertaking) at 26 places in Tamil Nadu for their various storage utility facilities. Each unit consists of a double storeyed storage area with allied facilities for offices, cold storage etc.,

DANIDA SCHEMES AND WORLD BANK AND STATE GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROJECTS for GOVT OF TAMILNADU – construction of Health sub-Centres, 400 no’s in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri, Tanjore, Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam each costing Rs. 4.5 Lakhs. Total Rs. 22 Crores and Health care Facilities and Training Institutes, Maternity Wards, Primary Health Centres at various places of Tamilnadu. Visited 400 villages, studied existing site conditions, requirements and helped the villages to build H.Sc in a “self help manner”

Served as CONSULTANT FOR DANIDA in facility programming for infra structure development of the Health Department of Govt. of Tamilnadu. Estimated the financial outlay civil activities and repairs and maintenance services for M/s. DANIDA. We visited more than 40 centres which are located all over Tamil Nadu , studied the existing conditions, prepared questionnaires, conducted surveys, documented the existing problems with drawings and photographs. Projected budgetary estimates.

TAMILNADU AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (TNAU) through RITES with WORLD BANK fund ( 1995 – 2002)

We were appointed to render our architectural & design consultancy services by
RITES. The task involved preparing development plan for accommodating faculty residences for TAMILNADU AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY in about 25 acres of land involving about Rs. 15 Crores of cost

The scope of consultancy services cover preparing masterplan for development with scope for future expansion designing individual dwelling unit types, incorporating electrical, plumbing and other service networks preparation of tender documents, appointing of contractor, preparation of detailed working drawings, periodical supervision, project monitoring and management consultancy.

RETAINER ARCHITECT for PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK – designing bank buildings cum interior and exterior works in Tamilnadu from 1993

Was appointed as the ARCHITECT for the construction of SHOPPING CUM OFFICE COMPLEXES at Anna Salai and Nungambakkam, Chennai for the CORPORATION OF MADRAS”( 1993).

Was appointed as ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST CONSULTANT” for providing the sketch schemes for 20 shopping cum office complexes for the “CORPORATION OF CHENNAI”
Appointed as Architect for TAMILNADU VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCE UNIVERSITY ( 2000 – 2001)
Was chosen among the five leading architects in Tamilnadu to design the “SILVER JUBILEE BUILDING” for “ANNA UNIVERSITY”, Chennai in the year 2003, the model prepared was much appreciated
Seychelles International Specialist Medical Centre at Mahe, Seychelles: This is a approximately 200000 Sq.ft hospital with Main, In-Patient and Service Blocks located in Seaward. (On going)

lotus apollo hospital at erode: ( 150 Beds) – Completed in 2000.
This is a multi speciality, 150 bedded hospital with latest facilities in Diagnostics, Radiology
(C. T. Scan ) , “Laminar flow “ for theatre complex,20 O. P. Consultant rooms, I. C. C. U with 12 beds, elaborate facilities for N. I. C. U, 24 hour 8 bedded emergency and Casualty wing, etc.

We rendered the comprehensive services, ( Structural, Electrical, Airconditioning)
We were involved right from the site selection to project completion

§ Kumaran Hospitals: Tirupur (120 bed) – C. T. Scan / 15 Consultants / I.C. C. U / 4 operation theatres / 6 bedded Trauma ward etc. This is located in an one acre land.

§ kovai medical centre and hospital at coimbatore (500 Bed) – Completed in 1989.
This project is in 22 acres of land and is a combined efforts of three architects, Dr. Sachithanandam B. Arch, M. T. P, taking care of the zoning, planning and overall architecture, M. Murali, M. Arch, concept development, scheme, Detailed drawing and Working drawings and Mr. Ramani Shankar B. Arch, architect based at Coimbatore looking after contractors / Site related issues.

This is an opthal hospital with paying and free patient facilities with 2 theatres

§ Designed the five storey hospital block interiors for M/s. M. V. Diabetes Specialities Centre at Anna Nagar, Chennai ( near Ayyappan Temple-Tower) This contains 8 out-patient consultation rooms (Diabetes, Opthal and Dental), X-ray,Doppler, Biothesiometry, E.C.G, Ultra Sound, large lab, various facilities required for diabetes identification, treatment and prevention. Designed 400 Health Sub Centres and 5 Primary Health Centres for M/s. DANIDA at Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Nagerkoil, Tanjavur etc.

30 bedded hospital for Mr. Elango and Dr. Usha elango for M/s. Perks Medical Centre at Coimbatore. (15,000 Sq.ft) ( Ongoing)

30 bedded Opthal hospital at Alapuzah, Kerala. (Prepared the Schematic drawings.

Out-patient block for M/s. Save Sight Community Centre to review 110 out patients per day at Erode.

Designed Medical college for M/s. Kovai Medical Centre at Coimbatore in 24 acres of land . This scheme is yet to be built, waiting for the government’s clearances.

Won Competition for Medical College conducted by Govt. Of. TamilNadu at
Navalpattu in the year 1996-1997. Due to political change this project was not built.

Designed the Spic Pharma Formulation plant at Maraimalai Nagar , Chennai for Southern Petro chemical Industries Corporation.
